P.E CURRICULUM SUPPORT

SUPPORTING YOUR SCHOOL

At the core of the services we have on offer to schools is our P.E Curriculum Support.

P.E curriculum support allows our specialists to work alongside your schools teaching staff in order to help raise confidence, subject knowledge and the skills required to deliver and achieve sustainable high quality P.E and school sport.
Typically, this programme allows your teaching staff to take an active role within the sessions being delivered, this helping to increase confidence, knowledge and skills which in turn will lead to increased participation levels and engagement of pupils within P.E and school sport.

Using a mentoring approach, teaching staff will receive detailed planning, feedback and assistance on numerous different aspects of P.E and school sport each week.

EVIDENCING OUR IMPACT

We will continually measure, assess and evaluate the impact of all our services within your school throughout the academic year. By measuring against the governments 5 key improvement indicators we are able to provide vital written evidence to demonstrate effective use of your schools P.E and school sport spend.

IMPROVEMENT INDICATORS

Our Curriculum Support programme will help your school to create a positive ethos of sport and physical education, ensuring all pupils and teachers have a positive experience of P.E, whilst encouraging individuals to seek a healthy active lifestyle. During the academic year we will collect pupil and teacher data, so that we can analyse the impact our service has had on your school.

Ultimately this service will look to make improvements within the following areas:

Increased participation in P.E and competitive sport.

The engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity – Kick starting healthy active lifestyles.

Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff and pupils within teaching P.E and school sport.

Broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils.

The profile of P.E and sport being raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement.
